The Kentucky Derby champion Authentic is the favorite is today’s race and close behind him is Louisville bases Art Collector, who was a Derby contender before he was scratched a few days before the Kentucky Derby.
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The post position draw for the 145th running of the Kentucky Derby took place at Churchill Downs on Tuesday morning. The field of 20 horses is slated to Run for the Roses on Saturday on WAVE 3 News. The post positions and morning-line odds are listed below: 1) War of Will (20-1). Kentucky Derby post positions. Tiz The Law, who won the Belmont Stakes earlier this year, will be racing out of the No. 17 post position. Below is the full list of starting spots, as well as each.
